Islamic beliefs honor Women

Have you ever walked through a mall and seen a woman with a veil covering her hair? What crossed your mind? Did you think she was one of the many wives of a rich Saudi Arabian oil sheik? Did you feel sympathy for her because some man forced her to dress that way? Or did you shrug your shoulders and decide it was just one of life's mysteries?

The veiled women are Muslims who have adopted the Islamic dress code for modesty. Islam is one of the world's largest monothestic (belief in one god) religions. Almost one billion people in 40 countries are Muslims, with Arabs less than 20 percent of the total.

In Malaysia?

We, the admins of Joomla-My have been monitoring the Malaysian Joomla! Community since the day of its birth on the internet. I found out that relatively significant number of users there are still in the dark with regard to choosing a good webhost for their website. It should be noted that these users are making their first ever live website and relatively inexperienced with web development. A site Revamped

The Malay College Class of 2004 official website, is my first ever website, built in 2004 using Mambo 4.5. It has gone thru numerous changes ranging from the template, to the Content Management System of choice. In 2005, I migrated the website to Joomla 1.0.4 which was quite a gamble back then. There were a lot of uncertainty, whether to stay with Mambo or to declare allegiance with its fork brother, Joomla. Thank god I made the right decision.
