Eh.. OMG! WTF?!

chat32px.pngNotice there is no single picture in the articles?
Well, I was trying to migrate to Joomla 1.5.2 last night, downloaded most of the backup files and then deleted everything in the server.
Suddenly, OMG! WTF?! Forgot the /images/ folder! Damn.. (3x)

I love speed. I love bike, big bikes that is.

The first motorbike that I rode (and successfully bruise my virgin skin) was an old, yet very reliable Honda C70 , a prized possession of my late, other mom (I have three moms, mind you). I still remember vividly how that happened. The year was 1997 (I was in standard two back then), and I went for a ride with my brother (of my late, other mom). Then I asked him to teach how to handle that machine. Boy, it was a lesson never to be forgotten.

Back in Kelantan (Malaysia), we have plenty of field, where crops were harvested twice a year. And in between the harvesting seasons, the fields were barren and infertile and stretches across the blue horizon. A perfect venue it was as our test bed. I first hold the bike, turned it on by means of kick starter, then off i went. It was a smooth ride, but after a split second, the bike caught with a pothole and I was lucky to have landed on its side.

My first bike that actually mine (yes, 100% my own cents), was bought last year from my earnings through freelancing (thanks to Joomla). It is a Suzuki FX150 (and yes, its just a 150cc bike). For a student, it is good. However, last January, I took a ride back to Kuala Kangsar (a royal town in Malaysia) on my friends Naza Blade 250 (local name for Koreas' Hyosung GT250). It was just exhilarating. Again, i love speed. On that Blade, I could easily throttle to 150kmph with one of my eyes closed. haha..

So, one day, which should be mine? A Honda CBR600RR or Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R or Yamaha R6? Hmm.. I think ill take an R6.

'But Fuqaha, why does the blog title has nothing to do with this?' That my dear visitors, is for you to read on.

So was it my birthday, last month?

Nope, it was this domains' birthday. Haha.. After reading Flisterzs' fast update, and a quick whois checkup at whois.sc (I didnt have the tiniest idea of when did I bought this domain), I then realized that this domain is already 1 month past its birthday, and now is celebrating its 13 months of being online~! Hoorayy~!

  • External referrers are from Joomla! Extensions with around 1500 uniques from that site alone monthly, Tutorial-Center and Pixel2Life (both around 50-100 uniques monthly), some small hits from KNizam , Flisterz, Blogtitude , NoktahHitam , Ikram-Zidane , AisyahRozi , Zemang , MCKK.edu.my (with no particular order of hits).
  • Link from Forums. Mininova Forum (around 300 monthly hits) - i dont know what bring them here, perhaps due to the splash screen tutorial,  Joomla-My Forum (im an admin there), and International Joomla forum (im a forum workgroup there).

@en_me, yup. Thats why i opt to get a 600cc bike first, before going straight to a 1000cc. Plenty of new superbikers died simply because they underestimate 1000cc bike, an R1 for instance.

@khalil, well, among the reason i love bike is that bikes are damn fast, and cheaper to maintain than car. You dont have to wait long in traffic jams too. yeah, i know, bikes have no roof, but for me thats the good thing 'bout it. haha.. smilies/smiley.gif
