Okay, i've read all the posts on how to change the splash screen
in Flash CS3; i went to Adobe Flash CS3/en/Configuration/FlashResources.dll and to Type : SPLA
Name : 1527
Language : 1033, but i don't know how to find the 1033, or what to look for. If anyone would be willing to help me out, i'd
appreciate it, thanks. - Miles

At last!
Here comes help for those of you with Elements!
I've spent days trying to find the Elements splash screen,
and now it finally worked! I found it in PSart.dll/PNGF, just with a different name, EL_SPLASHART.PNG.
If you don't find it there either, keep on searching!
I'm sure it is in there somewhere!
Good Luck! - joan

go to PNG > 1100 > 1033

save out as a binary png and replace it some less... tacky :) - chris

Thanks brentyloke for the heads up. Ill update the information appropriately.

at top0, make sure you have closed ur PSCS3 before you overwrite the original file. Moreover, in Vista, its much easier to save the file at some location first (perhaps at your desktop), then continue copying that file in the related installation folder. - fuqaha

ok, so i too am a perfectionist and wanted the after effects cs3 splash screen back to normal, so i spent a whole day doing with success. at first i replaced the cracked .dll with the original to find out it wont load the program. took me hours to uninstall and reinstall numerous times both crack and actual copies of after effects. so instead i took the png from actual copy of AE3 and uploaded so people can save it as a png and replace it with graffiti png. heres the link.
http://img179.imageshack.us/img179/3857/efefrix7.png
make sure to save as a png and then on reshack.exe->open->program files->adobe->supportfiles->afterfx.dll->png->ae_splash->1033. once 1033 is highlighted go to actions->replace with resource and find the .png picture you saved it as and then fill out the form as Resource Type:PNG, Resource Name:AE_SPLASH, Resource Language:1033. click replace and save. btw all the info i gave you is from fuqaha, all i did was upload the .png. i just made it easier to give you directions. also the .png is the splash screen from a legit copy and i didnt make it, so im sure you guys can appreciate that. it worked for me and if your still confused after my directions hit me up at brentyloke@gmail.com and ill help. - brentyloke
