With all due respect, I said nothing about the Quran copying from the Bible. Your belief is that because Mohamed said it, it has to be true. Since the NT was penned 600 years before the Quran, and every single copy of the 5000 manuscripts dating back to within 50 years of Jesus' death, support the Trinity as being the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit; not the Virgin Mary, this is an obvious error on Mohamed's part based on the few number of Gnostic Christians he had association with, and from who he got his information about Christian teachings.
Bible however, has been altered numerous times throughout its existence (in order to cope with scientific fact and human needs). On the contrary, Quran remained the same as what been read and seen by countless generations ago.
That is factually in error. But you are free to believe that if you wish. The diversity of some of the minor copyist ("Lord", "Lord Jesus", "Lord Jesus Christ") errors has only helped validate what has always been there from the beginning. I challenge you to produce one single authoritative source that proves that the Trinity included the Virgin Mary. Simply stating something to be true is not in and of itself truth at all.

If by "human needs" you mean the ridiculous numerous translations, of this we are both in agreement. But a publishing house's desire to make money on publishing does not prove your point of changes, since most of the translations are not accepted, as is the case in Islam. I believe there was a single Caliph that decided what was authoritative and what was not. Which is why Islam is scared to death of analyzing a specific Quran which has been locked away in an Iranian museum for a really long time.

I know of no scientific errors in the Bible, but then the Bible is not a book of science, but a book about a relationship between God and man. - Steve H

and another one.
Indisputably, resemblances do exist between narrations dealing with other subjects, particularly religious history, in the Bible and in the Qur'an. It is moreover interesting to note from this point of view how nobody holds against Jesus the fact that he takes up the same sort of facts and Biblical teachings. This does not, of course, stop people in the West from accusing Muhammad of referring to such facts in his teaching with the suggestion that he is an imposter because he presents them as a Revelation. As for the proof that Muhammad reproduced in the Qur'an what he had been told or dictated by the rabbis, it has no more substance than the statement that a Christian monk gave him a sound religious education. One would do well to re-read what R. Blachère in his book, The Problem of Muhammad (Le Problème de Mahomet) [ Pub. Presses Universitaries de France, Paris, 1952.], has to say about this 'fable'.
Dear sir,

It is so wrong to state that Quran is based on Bible, and that Prophet Mohamed (PBUH) took it from Bible.

Altho there are numerous identical explanations in both Quran and Bible, they are merely due to the fact that its from the word of the One God.

Bible however, has been altered numerous time throughtout its existence (in order to cope with scientific fact and human needs). On the contrary, Quran remained the same as what been read and seen by countless generations ago.

Should Quran is a copy of Bible, why didnt Quran contains Bibles' scientific errors? And did you know that theres plenty of scientific discoveries over our modern time that already been told in Quran?

Iqra' (Read), the first revelation to Phophet Mohamed (PBUH) shows the importance of Knowledge and desire to learn.

Please read more here:
Authenticity of Quran

Creations of Heavens and Earth

And interesting point at the end of the article.
Such statements in the Qur'an concerning the Creation, which appeared nearly fourteen centuries ago, obviously do not lend themselves to a human explanation.
Falsification test failed - Mohamed used a cultic off-shoot version of Christianity in the Quran, which misunderstood the Trinity as the Father, Jesus and Mary. This can easily be seen as wrong by looking at the historical teaching of the Trinity. Even if Christianity is wrong, Mohamed taught an incorrect understanding of Christianity. - Steve H
